The 63rd Northern Regional Conference of Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc. recently took place in Downtown Cincinnati, hosted by the Nu Phi Chapter. The conference was a remarkable success of women gathering to honor the theme, “Straightening My Sister's Crown”. The Westin Hotel was the perfect venue to host these beautiful women from Michigan, West Virginia and Ohio to come together, celebrate each other and promote unity.

The conference theme, “Straightening My Sister’s Crown” embodied the true definition of sisterhood and unity within the Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc. community of women. The atmosphere was filled with camaraderie, enthusiasm and shared dedication to uplift and support each member in attendance. A highlight of the conference was the community luncheon, where sorority sisters gathered to enjoy a meal and engage in meaningful conversations. The event featured local serial entrepreneur of Sweet Petite Treats and co founder of Cream + Sugar Coffeehouse, Taren Kinebrew as their keynote speaker. Kinebrew shared her inspiring journey and offered invaluable insight on overcoming challenges and how women must stay true to themselves, as their truth is a shining light that leads the way for other women to do the same.

Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc. dedicated part of their conference to highlighting several businesses in the Greater Cincinnati Area. They recognized the charitable work of Blessed 2 Be A Blessing (B2BAB). As the selected nonprofit organization of choice, B2BAB received a generous monetary donation from the

Sorority that will further support their cause. This gesture exemplifies Gamma Phi Delta’s commitment to philanthropy and their desire to uplift and support organizations that align with their values. They also showcased the excellent accomplishments of three remarkable women who've demonstrated exceptional commitments to their communities. Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc presented awards to women for Humanitarian, Determination and Going Beyond the Classroom. As an added bonus, Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc. allowed two women owned businesses to participate in their Rising Entrepreneurial Pitch. This competition allowed the businesses to showcase their innovative ideas and business plans for the future. This fostered a supportive and collaborative environment amongst the sorors and ultimately both businesses were awarded for their efforts.

By the end of the night, the sorors were enjoying themselves at a VIP Awards & Sneaker Ball. This portion of the conference highlighted the outstanding achievements by members of Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc. Northern Region. Their hard work and dedication were recognized and applauded by their peers in a celebratory evening of unity and love. With a renewed sense of inspiration and commitment, the sorors in attendance left the conference ready to continue their work and make a positive impact in their communities and beyond. It was an honor to be around women of such stature and to be embraced and inspired by their commitment to one another.
